*The View* panelist Joy Behar resurfaced a royal affair for *The Crown* star Vanessa Kirby, as the comedian grilled the *Fantastic Four: First Steps* actress about a flub that saw her accidentally reveal a major spoiler about the Netflix drama years prior.
Midway through the interview Thursday morning, cohost Sunny Hostin asked Kirby to dish "anything" on the *Fantastic Four *cast reprising their roles in the forthcoming *Avengers: Doomsday* movie. That led to Behar bringing up the time Kirby revealed too early that Helena Bonham Carter would succeed her in seasons 3 and 4 of *The Crown* as Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon.
"So, Vanessa, I'm a huge fan of *The Crown*," Behar said, noting that the show replaced Kirby with Bonham Carter "because [Margaret] got older" in the show's timeline.

"But," Behar continued, "you did something I've done, which is to spill the beans ahead of time. I did that. I got fired for it. I did! And then [they] rehired me two minutes later, but I told that something was going to happen when I wasn't supposed to, and you did the same thing."
Kirby replied, "Maybe they would've fired me, but I'd finished the seasons by then."
Behar then asked, "Can they trust you for the next series you'll be doing with Marvel?"

Kirby laughed as she responded, telling Behar that she's "trained now" in the art of spoilers.
"I learned the hard way," Kirby admitted.
In response to Hostin's inquiry, however, Kirby did spill some details from the set of *Avengers: Doomsday*, which sees Robert Downey, Jr. return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Dr. Doom, after his Tony Stark/Iron Man* *character died in 2019's *Avengers: Endgame*.

"We know Robert Downey, Jr. is in it. I can say that he's one of the loveliest men I've ever met in my life," Kirby told the panelists. "He's the OG, he's leading us. There are lots of us newbies coming into that world."
