Filming intimate scenes can always be a bit uncomfortable with the camera in close proximity, but Logan Lerman and Molly Gordon took things to the next level in *Oh, Hi.*
The film, which Gordon co-wrote with director Sophie Brooks, follows Iris (Gordon) and Isaac (Lerman) as they escape for a romantic weekend getaway, only to have the weekend go horribly wrong.
But things start out pretty steamy, and the duo reveals that they had to get up close and personal with the camera and its operator. "We're doing a sex scene with each other, but we're f---ing the camera," Gordon tells *. *"Our DP was also silly and sweaty, and we all just were like, 'This is not sexy.' But then it came out pretty good."

Adds Lerman: "I straddled him. That's what happens when you're doing this stuff."
Although they laugh about it now, Gordon and Lerman admit that they were a little worried about filming the sex scenes going into the project. "I was most nervous to shoot sex scenes because they're uncomfortable, generally speaking," explains Lerman. "This was before we got to start doing them, and then I was like, 'Oh, this is easy, fun, and comfortable.'"

Gordon echoes this, saying, "I was definitely most nervous for the sex scenes too, but we had a great intimacy coordinator and then, they ended up being the most fun of them all. It was so hot in that house, so being naked and just being silly and free was much easier than I expected."

In fact, it was another scene that gave them both the most trouble. Early in the film, before they make themselves at home, Iris and Isaac go down to a small pond, diving in and making out in the water. But it was nowhere near as romantic as it looks.
"Our teeth were chattering," says Gordon, noting that the water was extremely cold that day. "It was the first time we were going to kiss, and we have to kiss the whole movie. And I was like, 'Oh, once we do this, it'll be fine. But we couldn't get each other's lips; we were chattering so much. I think we both were like, 'Oh, you're a bad kisser.' I thought he made out with mostly teeth. I was like, 'Ugh, this is going to be a tough project.'"

**Lerman says he hardly even processed the kiss because he was mostly trying to keep himself — and Gordon — afloat. "My lips were blue," he adds. "And it was a deeper pond than we expected, so they just stacked a couple sandbags or whatever, and I'm on one toe underneath the water trying to stay afloat."
Don't worry, though, they go in the jacuzzi right after.
